Hola amigos! Feliz viernes y feliz día del trabajador a todos. Espero la estén pasando muy bien, después de un día libre y de descanso mañana continuamos nuestra jornada laboral. Leyendo algunos de los temas de la comunidad me animé a escribir acerca de la abundancia y la pobreza, mi forma de manejarla, el concepto que me inculcaron mis padres y cual ha sido mi experiencia con estos términos a lo largo de mi vida. ¡Gracias a @damarysvibra por traernos esta maravillosa iniciativa!
Hello friends! Happy Friday and Happy Labor Day to all of you. I hope you are having a great time, after a day off and rest tomorrow we continue our working day. Reading some of the community topics I was encouraged to write about abundance and poverty, my way of handling it, the concept that my parents instilled in me and what has been my experience with these terms throughout my life. Thanks to @damarysvibra for bringing us this wonderful initiative.
Si me hubieran preguntado hace años qué significaba la abundancia para mí, mi respuesta habría sido muy diferente a la de hoy. De niños llegamos a pensar que sólo se trata de dinero, sin embargo, este tema está muy arraigado a la educación que recibimos en nuestros hogares.
Vengo de familia de clase media y aunque en muchas oportunidades estábamos justos a nivel monetario, nunca escuché a mis padres decir que éramos pobres. Recuerdo a mis padres ser una pareja trabajadora para sacar adelante la carrera universitaria de mis hermanos.
If you had asked me years ago what abundance meant to me, my answer would have been very different from today. As children we came to think that it is only about money, however, this topic is deeply rooted in the education we received in our homes.
I come from a middle-class family, and although we were often in a tight financial situation, I never heard my parents say that we were poor. I remember my parents being a hard-working couple to help my siblings through college.
Actualmente me considero una mujer abundante y próspera. Somos lo que pensamos y manifestamos. Si vivimos quejándonos por todo, soy fiel creyente que atraeremos situaciones negativas a nuestra vida, tanto a nivel monetario, salud, amor, etc.
Me gusta rodearme de personas que me sumen y no me resten, personas con las que puedan surgir ideas, aquellas que ven el vaso medio lleno y no medio vacío. La pobreza comienza desde la mente. Nada como tener amistades que te impulsen a crecer sin conformarte ni compararte.
Pasar nuestra vida quejándonos, comparándonos con otros también nos traerá problemas de salud, como médico he atendido pacientes en los cuales sus problemas están causados por estrés y quejas de su vida actual, personas que se encierran en su burbuja y no buscan solución a su problema. Y si, es por esto que también le doy importancia a la salud mental tanto como a nuestra salud física.
Today I consider myself an abundant and prosperous woman. We are what we think and manifest. If we live complaining about everything, I am a true believer that we will attract negative situations to our lives, whether it is monetary, health, love, etc.
I like to surround myself with people who add to me and not subtract from me, people with whom ideas can arise, those who see the glass as half full and not half empty. Poverty starts from the mind. There is nothing like having friendships that encourage you to grow without conforming or comparing yourself.
Spending our life complaining, comparing ourselves with others will also bring us health problems, as a doctor I have treated patients whose problems are caused by stress and complaints of their current life, people who are locked in their bubble and do not seek a solution to their problem. And yes, this is why I also give importance to mental health as much as to our physical health.
Con el paso del tiempo tanto mis padres como yo hemos aprendido acerca de la educación financiera, aprendimos que no es necesario tener una relación tóxica con el dinero, de nada vale pasarnos la vida anhelando querer más y más. Debemos ponernos manos a la obra, salir de nuestra zona de confort y además de nuestras carreras universitarias aprender algún oficio que además de traernos tranquilidad sea otra fuente de ingreso.
Durante mi vida universitaria inicié un emprendimiento junto a mi novio. No sabíamos nada acerca de importaciones, cuentas bancarias, manejo de redes. Pero teníamos la convicción de crecer juntos. Tropezamos, ganamos, perdimos dinero y aún así continuamos. Ahorramos durante 3 años y logramos comprar nuestro primer carro.
With the passage of time both my parents and I have learned about financial education, we learned that it is not necessary to have a toxic relationship with money, it is useless to spend our lives yearning for more and more. We must get down to work, get out of our comfort zone and in addition to our university careers learn a trade that in addition to bringing us peace of mind is another source of income.
During my university life I started a business with my boyfriend. We knew nothing about imports, bank accounts, network management. But we had the conviction to grow together. We stumbled, we won, we lost money and still we continued. We saved for 3 years and managed to buy our first car.
Hoy en día sigo aprendiendo, sigo apostando por mi convicción y sé que puedo lograr lo que me proponga. Me encantó participar en esta iniciativa, me invitó a dar una mirada a mi pasado y sentirme orgullosa de todo lo que he logrado, a veces lo olvido.

Today I continue to learn, I continue to bet on my conviction and I know that I can achieve whatever I set my mind to. I loved participating in this initiative, it invited me to take a look at my past and feel proud of everything I have achieved, sometimes I forget.
