Good day to you all .
Today we continue with my new toy doing Amersfoort citywalk #monomad style where we left you yesterday at Muurhuizen.
All images are created by me with my Sony A7II + LAOWA FF 15mm F4.5 1:2 Macro lens.
The weather condition was cloudy , but still decent light for photography , but no sunshine to show the sunstars but ... i created this image on a tripod last night so that you can actually see sunstars at night .
ISO 400 shutterspeed 5 sec F13 remote triggerd with MIOPS
Right back to the history of Amersfoort...
On some photos i used lens correction on other photos i didn't simply because the streets are to narrow to get a decent photo and still have room for lens correction .
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge today .
let's continue where we stopped yesterday .
1 ) This is the right side of the Vagevier building that dates back to 1591
2 ) This building is from last century not that old unlike it's neighbour across the street .
3 ) Het Sluisje , translates in The Lock , that is because underneath the building there is still an old lock from the old citywall , thebuilding in the background dates back to 1586 and has been used as a musichal in the past.
The plant growing on the left and right side of the building is a blue wisteria .
found some more background information here : https://indebuurt.nl/amersfoort/genieten-van/mysteries/mysterie-waar-dankt-t-sluisje-op-de-muurhuizen-de-naam-aan~89645/ you might need google translate since it's in Dutch.
4 ) brood in ditch this is the water going underneath the building "het Sluisje "/ the lock loads of empty bottles floating in there , and the willow tree hanging over the water.
5 ) The street is getting narrower here making it harder to buildings in the picture, even with a 15mm lens .
6 ) spotted this little green oase in the middle of the street, and because it's a wideangle macro lens you can get really close to the subject and maintain a lot of sharpness on the subject.
7 ) The same narrow street from the other side the direction we came from , the tower on the left is from "het Sluisje" and all the way in the back you can see a glass dome that they builded near the old seminary .
8 ) the two buildings you look at the end of the street date back too 1618 , but we will get there soon enough . most people get arround on bicycle in this area .
9 ) above the wall people are growing grapes , funny thing is that these used to be the slum of Amersfoort , luckely things have changed over the centuries.
10 ) old brick wall and old mortar , the damage on the wall is probably one of the reasons for limited car acces.
11 ) 't oude wevershuis , here is also a memory stone from the second world war
VROUWTJE ARONSON (murdered 07-05-1943, Sobibor, aged 59)https://www.tracesofwar.com/sights/88639/Herdenkingssteen-Muurhuizen-227.htm
https://maps.app.goo.gl/XWtuwpY1bcVBXwX66 this is where it stands t oude wevershuis .
Well that is it for today you all deserve a break and some coffee after this walk , we will continue tomorrow so take care of your blisters ๐๐.
