Hey everyone! This is my first essay about the coolest things the Leofinance team did for INLEO and Hive in 2024. I learned all of this from a super long post by @khaleelkazi!
Number One:
- Massive User Growth & Exceeding MAU Targets: The team helped lots and lots of new people join INLEO! They wanted 10,000 active users each month, but guess what? By December 2024, they got 13,417 active users! That's more than they promised. They even became the number one group on Hive for bringing in new people.
Number Two:
- Invention and Implementation of Hive Aggregation Technology (HAT): Leofinance made a super smart new technology called HAT (both HAT V1 and HAT V2). This tech lets you easily swap HIVE, HBD, and other Hive-based stuff with other special digital money (called L1 assets) like on Maya Protocol, and soon Thorchain and ChainFlip. This makes it much easier to trade Hive money!
Number Three:
- Launch and Growth of LeoDex: They launched a brand-new app called LeoDex in 2024. It's like a special trading place where you can swap different digital moneys. LeoDex grew super fast and became one of the top 3 trading apps on Maya Protocol. This helped the LEO digital money grow a lot and made Hive a big player in trading.
Number Four:
- Enabling "Earn in Anything, Pay in Anything" Functionality: The team built a special way for people to earn money in any digital currency they like (like BTC, RUNE, or DASH) and pay with any digital currency on INLEO. This is a totally new way for creators to make money on the internet!
Number Five:
- Game-Changing Partnership with Dash: INLEO teamed up with Dash, another digital money. This was a really big deal! It helped thousands of new people join Hive and INLEO. Lots of people saw the news about this on X (Twitter), and now it's a great example for INLEO to team up with other digital money groups like Arbitrum and Thorchain.
Number Six:
- Pioneering Microblogging on Hive: INLEO was the first to invent a new way to write short posts on Hive, like tweets, which they called "Container Posts." This cool idea was so good that all the other apps on Hive started using it too!
Number Seven:
- Innovation in Onboarding Technology (Keystore Signups): They made it super quick and easy to join Hive by creating Keystore Signups. This new way to sign up helped lots and lots of new people join INLEO faster than ever before.
Number Eight:
- Revolutionizing Creator Monetization (Creator Subscriptions & Refer2Earn): INLEO made new ways for creators to earn money! They added Creator Subscriptions, where people can pay to see special content (even secret stuff!). They also made the Refer2Earn program, which pays people up to $50 for bringing in new active users. These new ways help creators make money all the time, not just for a short time.
Number Nine:
- Relentless Feature Development & Innovation Pace: The INLEO team worked super fast in 2024, adding hundreds of new features! They launched things like Polls V2 (where your vote is stronger if you have more digital money), new ways to log in, updates to LeoDex, and even INLEO Shorts (like TikTok for Hive!). They are always making things better.
Number Ten:
- Driving Hive Ecosystem Growth and Market Cap Contribution: By making LEO (a special digital money on Hive) very active and popular, the team helped Hive grow a lot! More users, more trading, and more cool new features mean LEO helps Hive get bigger and stronger, making sure it stays a big player in the digital money world.
