Traveling in the rainy season may be a challenge to face, such as my trip to the city of Pidie Jaya a few days ago, from the beginning of the trip we were greeted by rain so we had to stop several times to take shelter, but if the trip is done with friends, maybe every moment that happens will feel more enjoyable.
I still remember clearly when we had to rush to find shelter from the rain, and one of my friends slipped and got his pants dirty with mud, and became the subject of jokes at that time, fortunately at that time we managed to find a food stall that was closed so we could use it as a shelter.
At that time I don't really remember where we stopped, and because the rain was falling very heavily, fog appeared, at that time we felt hesitant to continue this journey, until 30 minutes later the rain finally stopped and the sun began to shine, we all immediately got ready to continue the journey.
And when we wanted to continue the journey, I was immediately amazed by the beautiful view in front of me, namely the view of the fog on the slopes of the mountain, and I let my friends continue the journey first, while I took the time to capture the view first.
The weather at that time was very calm, even the water was still stagnant on the road, but I was not satisfied if I only saw the view from one side, so I immediately continued my journey and looked for a point that had a wide and clear view of the beautiful view.
From this point, I could see the view of the mountain almost clearly, and this was also the last point I stopped, considering that all my friends were already far ahead, so I had to immediately continue my journey to catch up with them.
And after about 1 hour of travel, we finally arrived at the Manohara Beach area, but before entering the area I stopped for a moment at the side of the road to capture a little of the beauty offered by the fish ponds on the side of the road.
In my area, this has become a common sight because almost every beach has a fish pond area. This is also a source of income for local residents, by cultivating fish or shrimp in the pond.
After passing the fish pond area, I finally arrived at Manohara Beach and I was immediately greeted by an entrance gate.
And on the edge of Manohara beach, there are also many tourist attractions and that made us confused about choosing, because from everything I saw, everything looked interesting and tempting, finally we agreed to visit one of the tourist attractions at the end of the beach, and this was also our shared desire.
After parking the motorbike, we immediately went inside, some of my friends immediately ordered food and drinks at the stall, while I preferred to explore the main area of this place first.
Not far from the entrance, I found a fish pond that looked abandoned, and with curiosity I immediately approached the pond.
In fact, this pool has very beautiful decorations, its size is not too big and not too small, its depth is probably only about one meter, but it is very unfortunate why such a beautiful pool could be neglected.
Even the back looks very stunning, and there were already several visitors taking photos here before.
But if you think about it again, the maintenance costs of the pond are also quite expensive, is that what caused this fish pond to be neglected? However, I didn't think too much about it and chose to continue my exploration.
And in the middle of this area there is also an arched bridge, but what is the function of this bridge?
And it turns out that under the bridge there is also a fish pond, but again the pond has been abandoned, maybe I was late in visiting this place, if these ponds were still in use maybe the sensation would be very different.
It turns out that in this tourist area there is another pool, and this pool is much bigger than the previous pool.
After exploring the edge of the pool a bit, I finally figured out the purpose of this pool, and that can be seen after looking at this picture.
This pool used to be used as a playground for children, on the edge of the pool there are also several small boats that children can ride, but now it is no longer used, because this pool is very dirty and the water has changed color to yellowish green, even so dirty that I don't dare touch the water.
After being satisfied exploring the main area of this tourist spot, I immediately looked for a suitable chair for us to occupy, as usual when visiting the beach, I will definitely look for a chair at the end, because the view there is very beautiful.
My friends who joined this trip went with their partners, as did I, so our seats were quite far apart, but once we found a suitable seat, we immediately sat down and rested.
And not long after, our order was finally ready, so before exploring the front area of this tourist spot, we ate first.
