Not long ago, I visited an artificial lake in Cianjur. The name of this lake is Lake Calingcing. In this place there is fish farming, where this fish can be sold freely and also eaten directly in restaurants around the lake.
This place is also a place of recreation for local people in Cianjur or West Bandung. For more about this place, I will tell you in the next post. I Kana told you about a typical Sundanese food sold in restaurants around the lake.

These restaurants are quite numerous. Lined up from the gate to the end of these places. Selling the same thing, liwet rice and grilled fish. This place is unique because of the beautiful view of the lake and also enjoying food in a hut. Saung is a gazebo typical of Sundanese houses, one of the tribes in Indonesia.
Very traditional. This place is rarely found. Typical Sundanese restaurants usually have a design like this, to attract buyers. Reminds me of childhood and the village. I will tell you about a food that I bought and my family bought. We bought Liwet Rice, fresh vegetables and grilled fish.

For grilled fish itself, it is actually made simply. Grilled using sweet soy sauce. Then add a number of spices so that the fish is not fishy. Then grilled and it tastes a little sweet and savory. Here there is also a characteristic of this food, namely Nasi Liwet.
Nasi liwet, tastes a little savory and different from uduk rice. Nasi liwet is cooked directly by a special pan to make Nasi Liwet. Then the typical food here is a typical Sundanese food, namely raw vegetables which are a complement to this food. This set menu is a typical food from the Sunda region.

For raw vegetables, it consists of cucumber, basil, basil leaves and also the like, we call it lenca. And there is also chili sauce, there are two types of chili sauce, ginger chili sauce and also soy sauce chili sauce. Well, this is also very delicious to enjoy this food during the day and also enjoy the scenery around.
