What Can We Actually Do As Handwork?
What we can do with our bare hands is actually very important to put into consideration. Handwork is very important and it is something we should do or have the skill. Just like the prompt said, let's take for example that one day we wake up and there is no more internet what can we do to survive? Are we going to be left without nothing with us just because there is no more internet. Of a truth many of us have this skill that is always related to internet but let's take a minute to talk about real life matters with internet exception. Growing up I had no opportunity to learn a skill because of how the family was in terms of not allowing us to go out. So it have always been from school to house. Because of this, I was not opportunity to learn any handwork.
Immediately after my secondary school,I was not doing anything at the moment, so my dad has to register me to a computer training, Where I said for 12 Months. I did Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and CorelDRAW Graphics designing in general. After this I can actually do very well in field of graphics designing but it was still not enough for me. I needed something else to start or join up with what I have already. Then I started a program in Umuahia where I spent 6 months and learnt how to Barb. I did this steady and it came out perfectly that I can actually Barb any kind of hair successfully and the outcome will be given. I did Barbing throughout my stay in nursing School in the hostel, that was in College of nursing science in Abia State. Then in the hostel we have over 58 Guys and I was as spoken and lively so I had this good communication skill that I was able to convince 80% of the guys in the hostel for me to Barb them. And you can see how much I will be making from about 30 something students that I Barb even while I was in hostel.
Although internet skills are profitable and easy to do when you know them very well. But Time comes when you need something to do or doing offline and what could that be? For me I can comfortably Barb any kind of haircut and the rate is left for my customer to do that because I know it will not come out to be a poor rating. Then when I enjoying Midwifery departments, I started graphics design, Typing and printing work mainly. That I almost receive souvenir work from students who are doing their matriculation, I know how much I was earning from this side works, but then they were my main hustle oo. So far so good I can say for sure that I'm with some certain skill that can keep me going in life even though internet do not exist again.
However the next skills I'm planning to go into fully is internet related anyways. Probably, by the beginning of next Year, I will be taking a programming course. YES! I Want to go into Programming Fully and I know I will do well. But when you talk any other off internet Handwork, then I will go into fashion designing.
