With little to no play time in Splinterlands I have now hopped into the latest free to play game from the Hive Pizza Team. This game is called MOON. It is almost two months since it's initial launch and I started out late. Here is a link to other Hive accounts who wish to play in this game:

The game is mainly text base but can get really addicting. I believe the origin is from Ogame in 2002. Basically you start on a planet that produces three resources, metal, silicon, and uranium. With the resources you build buildings, weapons, and researches. Along the way you grow your points value to try and dominate the leaderboard. At the top are players who have massive amount of resources and planets. Everyone starts at zero but since earlier players have more time to grow their planets it is very difficult for newcomers to reach the top of the leaderboard. I am desepreately trying to do just that.
As mention this is all text based so not a difficult time to load considering my cellphone signal is not great. At the same time multiple players are actively seeking alliances and creating chaos by attacking other players to still their resources.
The main reason I started playing again was because I very much enjoyed the spin off of Ogame in Steem Nova. This was back in the day before Hive became Hive and people were on Steem. Same type of game with a few twists. For one the PIZZA token can now be used in game to give players to boost. In addition players get rewarded in PIZZA tokens for each season. This all makes it a very good play 2 earn video game.

As of present time I am ranked 32nd overall in points.
Considering I am not active in Splinterlands I have focused more time into MOON. I have won some fights but lost a in others. I had a blowout loss very recently that has taken me out of sync as to what I plan to build. As of now my plan is to simply avoid getting attacked by the higher ranked players. I simply do not have the fire power to fight as I had been mainly focus on buildings. This type of strategy is more for defensive players like myself. I am trying to build up enough buildings to produce resources so that I can in turn use the surplus to build weapons for attack and defense. Along the way I need to stare clear of attackers as best as I can, but again like I said earlier I lost out recently by taking a major blow to my main planet.
The game is fun and addicting to me as it makes me want to focus on what to build next while also planning for what may lie ahead from attackers. I hope to see you guys in Universe 1 as this game is free to play and easy to learn.
