Entre un madero viejo,
se asoma un ser bello,
es marrón y lleva un chaleco
es un Shiitake fresco.
Los Shiitake son hongos,
que crecen en troncos,
este se aburrió del frío odioso
y se fue a buscar un verano caluroso.

Shiitake are mushrooms,
that grow on logs,

Trepó hasta una mesa,
había un tarro de roja apariencia,
el Shiitake se fue a leer la etiqueta,
del recipiente que tenía letra pequeña.
Dentro de este se lanzó
y a los segundos un globo emergío,
junto con este el Shiitake se elevó
y se marcharon a buscar calor.
He climbed up to a table,
there was a red-looking jar,
the Shiitake went to read the label,
the jar had small print on it.
Into it he dropped
and within seconds a balloon emerged,
along with it the Shiitake rose up
and left to seek warmth.
Y sí que encontraron calor,
porque regresaron con el sol,
lo tomaron del cielo sin temor
y el Shiitake a su hogar lo llevó.
Lo dejó sobre el tronco
y junto a él se sentó jubiloso,
llegó el verano, esto es grandioso,
un ambiente ameno y caluroso.
And they did find warmth,
because they returned with the sun,
they took it from the sky without fear
