Tras la pared vive algo,
lo oigo cuando todo está calmado,
no creo que sean ruidos generados,
por vecinos mal portados.
Consigo un estetoscopio azulado
para vigilar lo que esta pasando
y cuando intento escuchar algo,
la pared me susurra algo.
Behind the wall something lives,
I hear it when everything is calm,
I don't think they are generated noises,
by misbehaving neighbors.
I get a bluish stethoscope
to keep an eye on what is going on
and when I try to listen to something,
the wall whispers something to me.
Me asusto de inmediato,
y en el sofá me oculto despacio,
mientras tanto brota algo raro,
un trozo de pared delgado.
Camina hacia mí,
me angustia que me vaya a herir,
quizás me va a comprimir
y en la pared me va a encubrir.
I get scared immediately,
and on the sofa I hide slowly,
meanwhile something strange sprouts,
a thin piece of wall.
It walks towards me,
anguishes me that it is going to hurt me,
maybe it is going to compress me
and in the wall it is going to cover me.
Y esta vez tenía razón,
me lleva a la pared con precaución,
pero, no es para lo que pensaba yo
quería mostrarme un hongo en el rincón
Sin miedo tomo al hongo
y en una maceta lo pongo,
el trozo de pared se pone dichoso,
y regresa a su entorno.
And this time I was right,
takes me to the wall with caution,
but, it is not for what I thought
wanted to show me a mushroom in the corner.
Without fear I take the fungus
and in a pot I put it,
the piece of wall becomes blissful,
and returns to its environment.
