Hello, my dear Hivers!
This is the continuation of my previous blog, where I’ll be sharing with you the last few moments of our pinning ceremony.
So now, I’ll start by sharing what happened right after we walked on the red carpet together with our parents.
We were already seated in our chairs.
Here’s our 0.5 shot with my seatmate!
By the way, theres a paper that handed to us earlier before entering the functional hall. But mine, I actually had it handed to Mama instead, so I had to borrow one from my seatmate for the meantime. I took a photo of it too. The back part of it had our class song printed, which would be played near the end of the event.
A few minutes later, the video presentation started. It showed our bonding moments and memories with classmates from first year up to the present.
Next came the pinning moment, where our nameplates were pinned on the left side of our clinical uniforms. I asked my Papa to do the pinning for me.
Then, we reached the final part of the ceremony, the giving of gifts or presents to our guardians. But it was totally fine if we just gave a flower. Personally, I chose not to, as I thought it would be better to give them something practical, something they could use on a daily basis.
So I handed them my gifts along with the paper bags. The blue one was for Papa, and the pink one was for Mama. I actually bought those paper bags at a store that mostly sells birthday items.
When I gave them the gifts, they both smiled so brightly, they really didn’t expect that I had something prepared for them.
After the event, we had a photoshoot with my family!
Then, I went back to the car so we could head home. They had already gotten in earlier, and I was the only one left. I took a bit longer because my friends and I were taking video clips for the transition part of the video we’ve been working on since the day of our pinning ceremony practice.
Here’s my nameplate, by the way!
Oh, and we ate the sweets we bought from Dela Rama right inside the car.
And that’s all for today’s blog, my dear Hivers!
