I know it's been a while since this game came out, I'm actually one of the first people to play it, but I wanted to experience it a bit before I started writing this post. Let's take a look at this game ^^

This image created by me with AI for this post.

Moon Hive was released by the Pizza team, led by @hivetrending, a game that many of you may not have seen for the first time. This is another version of Ogame, a very famous web game. Years ago I used to love this game, I used to play it a lot and when a new server opened I was eager to join. Those days are long gone and it's been about 7 years since I last checked it out. Playing this game is a great nostalgia for me.

Even though I played this game a lot, I realized that I don't really remember anything. What should be my strategy to progress? I don't know what to do, for now I'm just enjoying upgrading my buildings and researching.

For those who do not know, it is useful to briefly explain the game. This is a web-based space game. A game where you manage your own planet, attack other planets, colonize and create moons. What makes this game fun is to form alliances with other people and attack other players. Otherwise I can say that you will get bored after a very short time.

The first things you need to do in the game are to upgrade these three buildings. Metal is the resource you will use most in the game. Crystal and Deuterium are also used for building upgrades, research, defense units and spaceship production. So it would not be right to focus only on one. You can upgrade them all in turn. Of course, you need to watch your energy while doing this. If your energy drops to a negative number, your production will not be optimal.

You can see your energy and raw material production in the β€œresources” section of the menu. If you wish, you can reduce the resources that you find overproduced on the right side. At the moment, my Deuterium storage is almost full, so I will reduce it. My energy production is good at the moment, but if it was bad, I could use it to prevent metal and crystal production from being negatively affected.

Research is one of the most important things in this game. Research is essential if you want to progress in the game. It needs research to produce all of the ships. So which ship can you produce by doing which research?

The Technologies tab shows which research can produce buildings, spaceships, research, missiles and defensive units. All you need to do is start upgrading in sequence. Keep your goals small at the beginning because some research can consume all of your production in a few days.

I was playing the game for fun when I got an offer from the best alliance in the game and I joined them. I guess that's why I was never attacked for so long lol. When I first started the game I was constantly being attacked and it was absolutely frustrating. You don't want your creations to be stolen in any game. Even if it's a Free to Play game. By the way, Moon Hive is a free-to-play game. You can always register here.

Of course I don't want to show my defensive units or ships in this post, I don't want my enemies to attack me. I just want them to know that I have the resources to defend them! Instead, let's look at the best in the game. Here you can see the users with the highest level in an area. Maybe I need to level up something that no one is interested in just to get my name here. It won't be easy because people have advanced a lot.

Speaking of rankings, I'm currently ranked 75th in the game, which is pretty good considering I only log in a few times a day. Pharesim is in first place in the game with 73.5k points. With some simple math, he seems to be 28 times stronger than me!

That's enough information for today. Maybe I can post an update about this game from time to time. Just like Crownrend. But I definitely want to show you some scouting reports in the next post, so I'm focusing on the fleet now.

Thanks for reading, I hope you had fun. Don't forget to share your thoughts with me in the comments. Take care and have a great day!
