Yesterday I went to the beach, not to photograph but to eat my Hesburger meal. It just so happened that some great clouds were up in the sky and clouds like this are full of potential to get an amazing glowing sunset. At least I hoped for this to happen.
This is the sunset around 20.50. The sun was behind the clouds, but the horizon seemed to be cloud-free. This is a great combo.
21.05 the sun started to peek out below the clouds just as expected. The reflections from standing sea water were crazy good!
Unfortunately, the cloud-free space was too small and it wasn't fully clear as I realised. This means if the sun sets and goes below the horizon, it can't really glow up the clouds from below.
I didn't have my camera with me so I used my phone to take these photos.
The last photo was taken on 21.19. Four minutes after the sun had set. Just as I thought, it would not glow up the clouds from below. Just a small pink strip there, you can see. Still very beautiful, tho and you can't see these kinds of clouds every day.
Summer is ahead and many great sunsets hunts are yet to come!
