Saludos hivers. Con la llegada de la temporada de lluvia los árboles se llenan de hojas, las montañas se vuelven verdes y las flores aparecen en todas partes, listas para llenar con sus colores los paisajes, las plazas y cualquier espacio al aire libre. Los que me siguen o leen mis publicaciones, algo que agradezco profundamente, saben que fotografiar la naturaleza es una de las cosas que más me gusta y eso lo descubrí gracias a Hive 😃. El tema de hoy son las flores así que los invito a esta colorida exhibición y espero que la disfruten 💐.

With the arrival of the rainy season, the trees fill with leaves, the mountains turn green, and flowers appear everywhere, ready to fill the landscapes, squares, and any outdoor space with their colors. Those who follow me or read my posts, something I deeply appreciate, know that photographing nature is one of the things I love most, and I discovered that thanks to Hive 😃. Today's theme is flowers, so I invite you to this colorful display and hope you enjoy it 💐.
En esta colección de flores hay una gran variedad, tanto de colores como de formas y tamaños, podrán apreciar la belleza de flores como la hortensia y el coralito, ambas formadas por muchas pequeñas florecitas que dan forma a una gran flor que parece una especie de cúpula o esfera.
In this flower collection, there is a wide variety of colors, shapes, and sizes. You can appreciate the beauty of flowers such as the hydrangea and the coralito, both formed by many tiny flowers that form a large flower that looks like a kind of dome or sphere.

En el siguiente grupo hay tres flores bastante peculiares, la primera tiene cierto parecido a la flor de la parchita o maracuyá (Passiflora edulis), y es de un árbol que nunca antes había visto, la segunda, es una flor muy común aquí en Venezuela y la podemos encontrar creciendo en parques, jardines, plazas y hasta en las orillas de las calles y aceras, es una flor que abre de día y en la tarde cierra su capullo, la tercera es la única que no conseguí en la calle sino en el balcón de mi mamá, creció el año pasado en una de sus macetas y no sabíamos que era así que yo le tomé varias fotos para buscarla en internet y así poder identificarla, no lo hice en ese momento y se me olvidó, pasó el tiempo y mi mamá pensó que sería alguna planta de esas que la gente suele llamar "malas hierbas", (cosa que siempre me ha parecido injusta porque todo lo que hay en la naturaleza tiene su propósito), y la arrancó. Mientras buscaba en mi teléfono fotos para hacer esta publicación, encontré la foto y recordé que nunca la busqué en internet 🙈😬 jajaja, bueno, resulta que esa misteriosa planta era una chia 😲😕, y con lo caras que son esas semillas aquí 🤦🏻♀️.
In the next group there are three quite peculiar flowers, the first one has a certain resemblance to the passion fruit flower (Passiflora edulis), and it's from a tree that I had never seen before, the second one is a very common flower here in Venezuela and we can find it growing in parks, gardens, squares and even on the edges of streets and sidewalks, it's a flower that opens during the day and in the afternoon it closes its bud, the third one is the only one that I didn't find on the street but on my mother's balcony, it grew last year in one of her pots and we didn't know what it was so I took several photos of it to search for it on the internet and thus be able to identify it, I didn't do it at that moment and I forgot, time passed and my mother thought it would be some of those plants that people usually call "weeds" (something that has always seemed unfair to me because everything in nature has a purpose), and she pulled it out. While searching my phone for photos to make this post, I found the photo and remembered that I never looked it up on the internet 🙈😬 hahaha, well, it turns out that mysterious plant was a chia 😲😕, and those seeds are so expensive here 🤦🏻♀️.

Hay florecitas que cuando los pétalos se van cayendo se transforman en una especie de esfera peludita llena de semillas muy pequeñas, estas esferas son tan delicadas y etéreas que al menor soplido del viento los pelitos que las forman, y que cargan las semillas, se van volando para buscar su propio pedacito de tierra y así perpetuarse. Son sumamente comunes aquí y crecen en todas partes, hasta en las aceras. Algunas personas las confunden con el diente de león (Taraxacum officinale), cuyas flores también cumple este mismo ciclo de transformación, pero son especies diferentes.
There are tiny flowers whose petals fall off, transforming into a kind of furry sphere filled with tiny seeds. These spheres are so delicate and ethereal that at the slightest breath of wind, the tiny hairs that form them, which carry the seeds, fly away to find their own little piece of soil and thus perpetuate themselves. They are extremely common here and grow everywhere, even on the sidewalks. Some people confuse them with the dandelion (Taraxacum officinale), whose flowers also undergo this same transformation cycle, but they are different species.

Por último, y para cerrar este paseo florido, una flor muy diferente a la mayoría y que gracias a su singular forma y belleza, es muy utilizada en los arreglos florales para darles un toque más impactante.
Finally, to close this flowery walk, a flower very different from most others, and thanks to its unique shape and beauty, it's widely used in floral arrangements to give them a more striking touch.
