No, not my photography. I'd never say anything like that about my own photos as that's for the viewer to decide. What I'm referring to here is the photography exhibition I visited in February and has never posted about it. It's time to get myself together and start sharing the beauties I've seen over the past few months.
These photos were taken by the member of a certain photo club and exhibited in an exhibition room I'm always visiting.
I'm going to start with these two amazing photos. I don't know why, but these were hang in the staircase, above the stairs and I had to work magic, to be able to take a half decent photo of them.
We have a few photographers in this community, who are into this genre, I'm not yet, but I hope to try it out one day. I love these two by the way. They are real artworks in my eyes and using black and white is always an excellent idea as it takes away the distraction.
I think this photo speaks for itself and shows you why I chose the tile "Photography At The Highest Level". These are not usual, ordinary photos you see all over. Catching the dog in the air so nicely requires some skills and an adequate equipment as well.
It was super frustrated to see how glare and reflections ruined this lovely photo. What a shame, but what can you do?
Bugs and spiders are not my favorite subject to photograph and I don't think I've ever focused on those, but this photo is exceptional for several reasons. The rusty color of the spider goes exceptionally well with the pale background and the lovely white plant it is on. Look at the buds (or what those lovely shaped things are). I guess this photo ticks all the boxes.
Scary to meet it in person, but the lens is protecting you and the end result worth is.
Airs shows is not for everyone, you need to be at the right place the right time and know what you're doing, if you want such lovely results. Here the colors were amazing, but again, could not take a photo from a better angle.
I would name this photo Village Life. Look at the lovely brown and the pale blue combination, serving as a perfect background for the white animals. Lovely.
Still life photos belong to the 19th and the first half of the 20th century in my eyes, but I love them. I don't think these will ever be outdated. For me, such a painting or photograph represent peace and calmness.
Those light are the culprit, my biggest enemies, but if I turn them off, it's even worse.
After years of experimenting, trust me, I can tell you, taking photos in these conditions is an art.
This is where the fun begins. These photos worth gold in my eyes. First of all, the traditional folk costumes are always a thing to appreciate. Secondly, look at the interaction between the two girls, the expression on their face. Thirdly, wearing costumes that were for every day in the 18th - 19th century and holding a mobile phone is ... just beautiful ๐ Better than this is only when a musketeer is on his mobile phone.
This was another beauty. Look at that lovely landscape, with white trees and the small wooden cabin. I'd call this forgotten by time, or where time has stopped. Love it!
Bittersweet moments of life. Goodby kiss at the train station. I love it!
Carnival time! These costumes and masks are rarity already as you only see village people keeping the tradition going.
This was a lovely one, golden hour at the U-turn, but ruined by the reflection.
The world of rhythmic gymnastics is fascinating and colorful. This edit is especially interesting as it has the background to add to that.
If I were to choose only one, I'd choose the two two girls in folk costumes. I hope one nice day I'll have the occasion to participate at an event, where different folk costumes are displayed and worn and take a tone of photos.
If I were to choose two, then I'd add the two photos I have in the first shot. If I were to add another, that would be the flying dog, and so on.
