Quiero mostrarles una ciudad de la cual me enamoré 😍. Soy de las que cree que el arte puede estar en todas parte y Cuenca, capital de la Provincia de Azuay, Ecuador, es una muestra de ello, ya que en su arquitectura y en cada lugar y edificio de su Centro Histórico, hay arte pura hecha historia y al menos a mí me hacía ver en todo lugar, algo mágico, al punto de tener la necesidad de visitarla de nuevo y conocerla aún más. Tuve la oportunidad de visitar el Centro Histórico en dos ocasiones, una ya en su atardecer y noche, y la otra en la mañana, así que capturé fotografías en ambos ambientes.
Cuenca, es una ciudad turística, muchos amigos y familiares han podido visitar esta ciudad, así fue como supe de ella. Además de eso, es una de las 3 o 4 ciudades principales de Ecuador o al menos es lo que he entendido a la hora de realizar un tramite. El acceso a la ciudad es por tierra o en avión, ya están habilitando una ruta desde mi ciudad hasta allá y eso sería genial, ya que el recorrido por tierra desde donde vivo, es de 9 a 10 horas sin hacer paradas.

I want to show you a city I fell in love with 😍. I am one of those who believe that art can be everywhere and Cuenca, capital of the Province of Azuay, Ecuador, is a sample of it, since in its architecture and in every place and building of its Historic Center, there is pure art made history and at least to me it made me see in every place, something magical, to the point of having the need to visit it again and know it even more. I had the opportunity to visit the Historic Center on two occasions, one at dusk and night, and the other in the morning, so I captured photographs in both environments.
Cuenca, is a touristic city, many friends and relatives have been able to visit this city, that's how I knew about it. Besides that, it is one of the 3 or 4 main cities of Ecuador or at least that is what I have understood at the time of making a transaction. The access to the city is by land or by plane, they are already enabling a route from my city to there and that would be great, since the trip by land from where I live is 9 to 10 hours without making stops.

Una de las cosas que caracteriza el Centro Histórico, son las cúpulas que tiene la Catedral de Cuenca, son tan famosas que existe hasta un mirador, pero a este no pudimos subir, ya que son más de 160 escalones y realmente con niños, no es tan fácil, a demás que necesitas ciertas condición física para poder hacerlo y como en días anteriores mi hija mayor casi se desmayaba en un Páramo, no quisimos asumir el riesgo, puesto que para poder subir hay que pagar y si luego ya no subes no hay reembolsos.
En el centro no solo está la catedral, hay muchas edificaciones, hay restaurantes que incluso son temáticos, pero tambien algo costosos, aunque hay algunos en los que puedes acceder con un bajo consumo, espero poder visitar algunos en otra oportunidad y mostrarles. Por otra parte en su centro también están los edificios gubernamentales, hoteles desde lujosos, hasta posadas bastante accesibles y cerca de la Gobernación se estacionan los buses que son al estilo New York (con la parte de arriba abierta) que por $8 adultos y $5 niños, te hacen un recorrido por toda la parte histórica de ciudad, hasta uno de los miradores más importantes que hay.

One of the things that characterizes the Historic Center, are the domes that has the Cathedral of Cuenca, they are so famous that there is even a viewpoint, but we could not climb this, as there are more than 160 steps and really with children, it is not so easy, besides you need certain physical condition to do so and as in previous days my oldest daughter almost fainted in a Wasteland, we did not want to take the risk, since to climb you have to pay and then if you do not go up there are no refunds.
In the center there is not only the cathedral, there are many buildings, there are restaurants that are even themed, but also somewhat expensive, although there are some in which you can access with a low consumption, I hope to visit some another time and show you. On the other hand in its center are also the government buildings, hotels from luxurious, to quite affordable inns and near the Governor's office are parked buses that are New York style (with the top open) that for $8 adults and $5 children, they make you a tour throughout the historic part of the city, to one of the most important viewpoints there.

Se le llama "Centro Histórico", porque hay edificaciones que cuentan la historia de hace más de 200 años. A mi me hubiera encantado visitar el Salón de la Justicia y un Museo tipo jardín que fue un convento, pero en una próxima oportunidad será que los visite y es que realmente para recorrer todo Cuenca y apreciar tanta belleza, se necesitan más que 3 o 4 días. No hay ningún problema o peligro para tomar tus fotografía, la educación es parte de su cultura y también el turismo, así que las personas que viven en la ciudad están acostumbradas a ello.

Quien no se enamora de Cuenca, es porque no la conoce como ciudad. Tiene un clima frío muy rico, la educación de la gente, lo ordenado y limpio, el arte, lo histórico y su gastronomía. Tiene el agua más pura como de manantial y además leí en la prensa que es una de las mejores ciudades para vivir de todo el Ecuador. Mi familia y yo quedamos enamorados de Cuenca.
