The Ruleset
- Rulesets - Beefcakes & Briar Patch
- Mana Cap - 27
- Active Elements -
Here's my starting lineup
Summoner: Immortalis
- With the ruleset and element pick that I got I instantly knew what summoner I wanted to play
- That summoner was Immortalis as his give Void to the whole team which was going to be huge in a battle where Briar Patch was active and melee monsters were kind of out the game
- Void - 50% less damage (rounded up) from magic attacks or 0 damage from magic attacks of 1 power
- Shatter - Successful attacks destroy the target's armor
1st Position: Mycelic Slipspawn
- Mycelic Slipspawn was my main tanks for this battle
- Main reason I like Mycelic Slipspawn here a lot is his Taunt ability
- As melee monsters were still playable Mycelic Slipspawn Forcefield was hopefully countering my enemy playing high melee damage
- Taunt - Draws the attacks of enemy units. Does not affect Reach, Scattershot, Wingbreak, or enemy units in the first position
- Forcefield - Attacks dealing 5 base damage or more instead deal 1 damage
2nd Position: Regal Peryton
- Regal Peryton was here because he is possible one of the tankiest magic monsters for low mana at least from the cards I had in hand
- His 6 speed, 6hp and Flying ability make him a wonderful tank for only 5 mana
- Also he has 2 magic damage which is find for my rank
- Flying - +25% chance to evade physical attacks. No effect if the attacker also has Flying. Immune to Earthquake
3rd Position: Goblin Psychic
- Goblin Psychic was my last monster for this team
- For 6 mana his stats are kinda mid nothing bad nothing wonderful but what makes him so god like are his abilities
- Tank Heal - Each round, restores 1/3 of max health (rounded down) to the allied unit in the first position
- Affliction - 50% chance to apply Afflicted after a successful attack. Afflicted units cannot be healed
Starting board
- At first sight the battle seemed totally doomed for me because how much damage my enemy had due to our team level diff but then I realized I have Forcefield and his Drybone Barbarian was going to do only 1 damage per attack
- That made me smile for a second but then I saw that he also had a single healer and 4 ranged damage in the backlines which meant I still needed to take down his frontline fast or the battle would still be lost
- But my predictions could still be off by a mile so lets start the battle and have a look
Here's how the battle went
1st Round
- First round nothing interesting really happened
- We both damaged each others tanks a little but nothing big
- Everything was still open so lets keep watching
2nd Round
- 2nd Round was so huge for me and that also secured me my victory
- I also started to chip away health from his healer and once he falls my enemy would only have his ranged monster left who would not even be able to attack from the first position
- Should take two more rounds and then the victory screen
3rd Round
- Healer down only ranged monster to go
- Also as his ranged monster was not able to attack I started to heal more than I got damaged which meant I was going to win this battle with 0 monsters fallen
- Now I just needed to wait for the start of the next round and then face my victory
4th Round
- It took me 2 attacks to kill my enemies last standing monster
- After his War Pegasus had fallen I took the victory

Summary
- This battle was definitely heavily one sided but still fun to watch
- Not really a strategy to take away from this battle as I just got really lucky by playing monster with Forcefield
- Sadly Forcefield is kinda only useful in higher league battle where monsters have more damage
