Wtorek był dniem "gospodarczym", goście pojechali do ZOO, a my z żoną do lekarza, a przy okazji załatwiliśmy kilka innych spraw. Liczyłem na to, że uda mi się wygospodarować godzinę na trening, ale niestety, goście za szybko wrócili z ZOO i nic z tego nie wyszło.
[ENG] Tuesday was a “business” day, the guests went to the zoo, and my wife and I went to the doctor, and in the process we ran some other errands. I was hoping to set aside an hour for training, but unfortunately, the guests returned from the zoo too soon and nothing came of it.
Wczoraj pojechaliśmy do Amsterdamu. Lubię to miasto za niepowtarzalny klimat, chociaż wyjątkowo wczoraj drażnił mnie wszechobecny zapach marihuany. Nie spodziewaliśmy się, że w środku tygodnia, pod koniec kwietnia miasto będzie pełne turystów, no ale najwidoczniej wielu z nich pomyślało tak samo jak my.
[ENG] Yesterday we went to Amsterdam. I like this city for its unique atmosphere, although exceptionally yesterday I was irritated by the omnipresent smell of marijuana. We didn't expect the city to be full of tourists in the middle of the week at the end of April, well, but apparently many of them thought the same as we did.
Łatwo jest się zgubić w setkach wąskich uliczek, dziesiątkach kanałów, które otaczają centrum miasta, każda z tych uliczek ma wyjątkowy urok i przyciąga wzrok ciekawskich. Oczywiście nie mogło zabraknąć kolorowych kwiatów na każdym kroku i smacznych serów. Każdy z nas kupił przynajmniej jeden bochenek, a wcześniej popróbował różnych smaków, ile tylko się dało.
[ENG] It's easy to get lost in the hundreds of narrow streets, dozens of canals that surround the city center, each of these streets has a unique charm and attracts the eyes of the curious. Of course, there was no shortage of colorful flowers at every turn and tasty cheeses. Each of us bought at least one loaf, and beforehand tried as many different flavors as we could.
