In this video, I discuss how we have gotten into a great equilibrium position early on in the pre-sale for Conclave Arcana where we are not minting more DEC than we need. This keeps SPS constantly burning for DEC that either gets burned or locked up in the DAO and keeps the flywheel moving forward - even if slowly.
And that is the biggest factor for me, a slow and steady BUT consistent flywheel will be the best thing for Splinterlands and the $SPS token moving forward. Huge spikes are great for marketing, but they will always be pump and dump in nature whereas building something with true utility underneath and slowly reducing the supply over time through actual game and defi mechanics is what is ideal.
I know it may seem like things are moving slowly now, even stalling with something like the pre-sale, but I challenge you to think well beyond the Conclave Arcana pre-sale - hell think well beyond Conclave Arcana while you're at it - and understand that we are now moving in the right direction with a much healthier game economy and the team, DAO, and community firing on all cylinders.
