Figured I'd do a quick little log here and there on what I'm working on for anyone interested.

Majority of the post rewards will go towards @zing.fund to help funding of the game (once we've caught up with paying our curators and mods)

Instead of just shitposting (and forfeiting rewards) maybe this'll give people some insight on current activities or lack thereof while not letting autovotes go to waste (I know, I could just not post when I don't have anything important to say, but hey, at least I'm not accepting all author rewards constantly like other authors in a similar position may). And yes, holozing is "my" project, but I like to think of it as a DAO-ish ecosystem where contributors are rewarded in hive and that eventually over time even my position of leading, overseeing, designing, planning, outreach, etc, may hopefully be replaced cause I'm not the best at many of those things and I'm not really afraid to admit it. What I do like to think however is that I'm quite decent at gaming so looking forward to do that with our game(s) in the near future.

Now, some things may be redacted, some things aren't good to have public at all times, so I'll just be noting down "redacted" on those parts, whoever is involved knows what that activity may portray.

Since this is my first post and there's been a lack of updates on the main @holozing account for a while, I'll do a bit brief on the last week/month of activities before going to more recent events.

  • start of new side-project for zing, too early to give details, but connections, planning, and work have started, more to share hopefully sooner than the main game!
    • designing currency, xp, zing rewards, and costs
    • other, redacted
  • collection set
    • creation of 3d packs with additional animations
    • discussion and planning on how it'll be built and showcased on the website
    • assembling and picking of community artworks for the alpha collection set
    • planning of costs, rewards, and royalty shares for the collection set
  • main game
    • implementation of evolution progress and limitations on when evolved creatures can appear in encounters
    • implementation of creature moves restrictions on what moves and when they can learn them
    • implementation of creature level on wild encounters based on the healer's party creature levels
    • implementation of new moves for creature types without unique moves yet for main game (bug & grass)
    • testing alpha vial opening with all assets
    • preparing to update the inventory page for vial opening

Lastly, we've also recently updated our collection reward zing allocation as announced in our Discord. The idea here, due to Hive's low price for long, is to reward those going out of their way to spend Hive when they'd rather be accruing it at this point. While delegations help give the project a consistent weekly funding, in terms of value it has remained rather low for longer, thus people spending hive or bringing value into the hive blockchain from other currencies and spending it on the holozing ecosystem are fairly rewarded as it is direct funding towards a project that requires a lot of it.

While we haven't made any official updates in a long time and hope that hasn't deterred users/speculators/interest, we hope to get back to it soon with some strength behind the announcements, as some of the things currently ongoing are finalized and ready to go live. The great thing about Hive and its transparency is that many may see that I'm personally still delegating and buying vials as much as I can at these hive prices to further support the project and don't expect to be earning any hive anytime soon from my own contributions compared to others.

If you still have trust in the project, we'd welcome delegations towards @zingtoken and purchases of our limited alpha vials to help it along. Delegations in and of themselves would be welcomed even if the delegators instantly sold the earned Zing (currently at 9% APR) to get back the value their delegations may have forfeited in terms of curation rewards - as long as it helps further fund the project and the APR stays somewhat high so you'd get back what you delegated. As for alpha vial funding, that one we can't guarantee if it's going to be profitable or even see any return of value, as collection rewards may be adjusted based on the project's best interests and development. That said, they may withstand value over time in and of themselves, even if we stopped rewarding zing towards them eventually.

Thanks for reading and still being part of @holozing and $zing!
