They say rich people that don't want to brag about their wealth drive beaters. Well, the owner of the Merc here is not a millionaire but he does have taste for quality stuff.
The subject of this photography post is an old Mercedes CE 220. The famous W124 which is known for its reliability and good looks.
It looks sporty but it's not actually a rocket on wheels. Runs pretty decent for its age however. The quality of the materials used to build these cars is top notch.
So, what's the story of this car? Well, it belonged to a friend of mine who sold it to the current owner a while back. A couple of days ago he took for a spin and got it clean as well.
Nice ride, no doubt about it. Wouldn't pay $10,000 or more for such an old car though... What do you think, are old cars still worth it? Would you daily drive such a vehicle?
